What is it, and how effective is it?

Also, why write off the deterent value of legally allowing people to defend their property.

Existing laws, courts and police do not stop crime,.... crime in many cases is committed one on one, therefore the most effective crime prevention is the individual victim.

You're all about criminals rights and privileges....IMO, once you break and enter, you lose most rights, you're literally at the mercy of the mentality, capacity and weaponary of the occupant.

Stay out of the house, and no-one is hurt....problem solved.
