I'm not mad at the Pope.
I don't understand the ugly double speak he uses.
I don't want vicious and ugly bigotry to be part of our community either - but I have gotten used to that...so I'm sure you can get used to law-abiding, loving citizens being part of our community.
I have no idea what you mean by "brainwashing of children." If that "brainwashing" means teaching children tolerance and compassion and living life in a generous and kind way to our fellow human beings - then I'm all for it. I'm sorry you're against that. But, as you said, it's your right to feel any way you like.

How does harming "non-traditional" families in any way HELP "traditional" families? How is it that a human being is "most precious being created by God" - unless that human being is gay?!
Is what I actually wrote. Want to answer that?

Conservatism: Self-centered mean-spiritedness fueled by ignorance and misguided self-importance.

Bigotry is a social disease.

Legalized same-sex marriage almost certainly benefits those same-sex couples who choose to marry, as well as the children being raised in those homes. - David Blankenhorn is president of the New York-based Institute for American Values and the author of "The Future of Marriage."
