Geli Rabaul was so forlorn that she couldn't spend much time with Hitler, that she commited suicide.
At that time, Hitler became so distressed, that his "inner circle"had to keep him under constant observation in the fear that he would take his own life. He ended up marrying Eva Braun years later, but he himself admitted that Geli was the only woman he ever truly loved.
The German people supported him because he was restoring the pride of the German people after the disgrace of the "Versailles Diktat".(The treaty officially ending WWI).Most, if not all; Germans believed that Germany was humiliated by the Entente powers (The Allies) in the very wording of this treaty; and that the governments that followed Hindenburg were doing nothing to restore the pride as well as the standing of the German nation in European politics. In the early years of the Hitler government, he was accomplishing these goals very cheaply and without war. Granted, Neville Chamberlain was in no way equal to the task of dealing with Hitler- but not many were.
BTW,guys; isn't it high time you stopped beating the "homosexual drum" to death? It seems like this is the only topic that you want to discuss-even though it is obvious you have differing viewpoints. Give it a rest. You both are smarter than this.
Sounds good. I couldn't care less about Hitler, it's the "respected" historians that you need to convince. When you have people trying to reinterpret the Bible though, any historical documents and facts are subject to be viewed through "revisionist" spectacles.
