Anyone who is capable of uniting this country and bringing us all together has my support. I will go ahead and vote Republican and let the chips fall where they may. . . If Obama happens to win the election, then I will support him - because I think that is the duty of any true American (to support whoever is President, regardless of ideology). . .

This country is disunited right now. The economy sucks. The War in Iraq seems to be going nowhere. People can't afford to buy gas, let alone houses - so naturally people are angry.

I will say that at least we live in a country where people can express their anger and frustration by voting - the most powerful tool an informed citizen has at their disposal.

Here's what I think will happen (not what I want to happen) - Obama will win the election this November and the people will have spoken. The people will have what they want - favorable or unfavorable.

There is a lot at stake - I just hope that Obama is prepared to deal with it in a timely manner without second-guessing any of his decisions. He will be criticized, but I (for one) will not criticize him - as I think it is just un-American to criticize a sitting President!

After all - we are supposed to be the United (not disunited) States of America. . .
