We still need Martin Luther King today. And not the cameo appearances of posthumously endorsing folk on the scene today. We need his work. His energy. His largeness.
There is a story in the Bible that when a man most effectual in the work of The Lord did die, that another received his strength and wisdom by wearing his cloak. That may be so. Perhaps he gave us, if we but take it to heart, the fabric of a nation that could blaze trails in peace, liberty and equality.
