Oh Yes, hindsight is 20/20. Shall we impeach everyone who has ever uttered a statement regarding Iraq and WMDs prior to the discovery that the intelligence is wrong. Hmmm that would then include, Kerry, Clinton, Kennedy, Byrd, and how many others? Hell why stop there??? Why not impeach the entire Congress while we are at it????? Except for a small few, everyone believed the intelligence. Well the intelligence was wrong, but then since we did not have actual people but rather relied upon the collection and interpretation of data, who would have thunk it??????

Perhaps we should have listened to the intelligence community back in the 1990's when they were being revamped and complaining that we had a need for having intelligence from human sources and not just from data, but we didn't. The politicians and the media believed that human intelligence was unreliable, well now we find out that their preferred method is just as unreliable.

How easy it is to sit here today with all the facts and say those were lies then, but the of the matter remains, that every reputatable source said that Iraq and Hussein had WMDs. A lie is knowingly give false information, no one lied, because no one knew.

Conservatism, I repeat is not an ideology. It does not breed fanatics....But if you want men who seek, reasonably and prudently, to reconcile the best in wisdom of our ancestors with the change which is essential to a vigorous civil social existence, then you will do well to turn to conservative principles
