He won't get anyone to support it other than a few like-minded impassioned individuals. Congresswoman Cynthia McKinney already tried this in 2006, for example.

I mean, really, what does it take for the Democrats to grow some backbone? This has been arguably the most disastrous President in US history, and even though impeachment is something a majority of Americans would support (according to various polls), they have pretty much managed to let the Republicans keep the "I-word" purely taboo. While on the other hand the Republicans were able to impeach Bill Clinton for getting a blow job, something that wasn't democratically popular.

How much of a party is the Democratic Party if it cannot win elections, and when it does, is unable to fulfill the wishes of the people who elected them? If it is anything, it cannot be called an opposition party, that's for sure.
