I don't think there will ever be a religion that everyone will agree on because if there really was there could be an upset in the balance of good vs. evil. You can't really have one with out the other.

This has nothing to do with anything it's just something I find interesting, if you take an 'o' out of 'good' you get 'god' but if you spell 'evil' backwards you have 'live'. But then again if you spell 'god' backwards you have 'dog' it may just explain why dogs tend to be happy and chearful.
