It will be taking the obvious biologic, reproductive and common sense basis for "man and woman" and making it relative. Once you make "marriage" based on "what is fair" and based on whatever, it opens the door for "other" things to ask for "fairness" as well. And we all know, as with this latest ruling, all it takes is someone to bring a lawsuit and claim their "rights" are being impinged.

With "marriage" based on the unchangable and irrefutable "male and female" it used to be thought to be safe. But if you can change something so permanent based on what is "legal", then just as with abortion, another subject that is based on "fair" and "legal" instead of common sense, you are just Fing the whole damn thing up.

But to answer your totally bullshit question. Allowing a person to marry their own gender literally wouldn't matter to any one's marriage. But then again allowing a crowd to marry or allowing some dude to marry his pooch won't literally effect an individuals marriage either. But just as homosexual marriage, all those are f'd up situations that should never be considered under the idea of marriage that we currently have.
