ROTFLMAOL!!! Hey, didn't I just say a few days ago, that although on some issues we disagree, but we do on occassion agree on other issues?

This is just one of those other times...Kinda balances out things, don't you think?

I'll say this much...It wasn't easy. I take pride in the fact that I can vote...But at the same time, I take pride in not wasting that vote either. Voting for 'the better evil' or 'just cause I can', just doesn't sit well with me. I want my vote to matter, to the issues that matter most to me.

Mom says that my thinking is rubbing off on her too...Listening to my hubby and I, as well as listening to my responses about politics on-line...She's kinda gotten a whole new way of thinking about her own politics and motivation for those she votes on...She's feeling horrible right now for not voting, and I would have taken her if she'd asked...

But she said learning so much more about the canidates through the internet medium the weeks she's been living with us, has made her realize that voting just to vote isn't the step to fixing the problems of what needs fixing in our country.
