It doesnt change the facts on the ground, nor does it mean we can be blamed cause there wasnt WMD's.

If need be we can go take a look back into history and find when this all truly became an issue. Anyone ever hear of T.E. Lawrence? You know, Lawrence of Arabia. That period in history is when the hatred of the west began in earnest. Why? Because of lies and trickery on the part of the west, which to this very day is causing problems.
That situation has NOTHING to do with today.

You can still love your country, without being okay with the many, many thousands of unnecessary deaths it has caused.
True, but you cant still love this country and be ok with the thousands killed in the WTC. You cannot still love this country and not want to defend her right to sovernty(sp?) against terrorist groups who want nothing more than to destroy us. Oh thats right, those people arent real

I love my country, but not a corrupt and imperial government lying to it's people in order to ensure access to a dwindling supply of oil, while exponentially increasing the wealth of those who contributed to the Bush campaign. There are better ways to go about securing future American stability.
Corrupt? yes it is, and ALWAYS has been, wether run by Rep, or dems but we are not a imperial nation. If we were, we would be in Iran right now as well.

I agree though that there are better ways to secure Americas future. I think we have the tech right now to cut our need for oil dramaticaly, but every president over the last 80 years has been in bed with the oil companies.

However, the war on terror isnt going to go away by doing nothing.
