The fact is nature already takes care of overcrowding via menopause - the example you yourself gave earlier - and disease, among other things.
Mankind helps avoid overcrowding by killing people in large numbers.
You don't have to be a homosexual to help avoid overcrowding, just use a condom with your female partner.
