 Next: There aer a few facts that you seem to have left out of your overview of the wonderful nations of Europe and their gun laws. First of all, there are hardly any black people in Europe ar all, and thusly, there is much less crime. This isn't racism , this is reality, black people comprise 12% of the American population, yet commit 60% of the violent crime -justice department stats. Secondly, they are all socialist, much in the same way that liberals want to turn America into a socialist state, through BS ideals like gun control and political correctness(thought control) .
Lastly, if you don't have a gun what are you going to do when someone breaks into your home? Do you expect your rapist to be impressed with your compassion for his life circumstances and the social inequalities that forced him into a life of crime? Do you expect him to be empathetic to you because of your progressive ideologies? Please do, so that he can laugh at you for being a fool, and then take advantage of your naivette and your physical weakness. He will appreciate the fact that people like him will always be the predator and people like you will always be the prey. It is people like myself who make him think twice about victimizing people, I am a criminal's worst nightmare, while you are his eternal prey.
The bottom line is that more laws and legislation is not the answer. Gun control laws seek only to disarm the law abiding and have little affect on people who have a wholesale disregard for the law. Prohibition doesn't work. Personal responsibility is the answer to all of societies problems. If society can't handle the weight of their own freedom, then society doesn't deserve to survive.
This is the inherent problem with liberal ideologies, they are kind of like magic in that as long as people believe in them they work, but as soon as people stop buying it, things start crashing down to reality. Reality is this : The only rights that you have are the ones that you are willing to fight for, anything else can be taken from you in the blink of an eye. You might think that you have the right to live your life and pursue happiness without anyone stopping you, but the minute that someone busts through your window it is up to you to enforce your right to live. If you would rather die for BS ideologies than stand up for yourself and your rights I think that is wonderful, more air on this for me to breath. But don't try to impede my right to protect myself just because you would rather be a coward than ensure your own right to have a fighting chance against whatever deranged psycopath feels like killing you because he has the inclination.
The first mistake that liberals make is assuming that everyone in the world is as much of a pussy as they are. The "oppressed" people of this country that liberals want to fight for would be the first people to call you a pussy and rob you if you made the mistake of walking through their hood. The bottom line : I will never give a fuck about unjust/unnecessary laws or the pussies who fight to try to take my freedoms away. Feel free to relinquish all your rights/freedoms in the name of safety, because I will always be here with my shotgun and my bong ready to tell you and everyone else who doesn't like it to go fuck themselves. America embodies my freedom to whatever the fuck I want as long as it doesn't infringe others' freedoms to do whatever it takes to make them happy, and no matter how pussified the population at large becomes you can never kill that ideal.
