Waitingtables, do you have a link for the article? That was great. I'm guessing that "show respect" will be ridiculed but I think it's perfectly true. While there are people who are quite willing to act like an animal when you're judiciously treating them like a human, I think a lot of support for these people would dissipate if that rule were followed.
