He wants to protect EVERYBODY? However, he doesn't believe that gays are worthy of equal protections under the law for their families.

Screw 'em. He didn't soften his stance - he just didn't hide his anti-gay stance behind a bunch of Biblical rhetoric like he does with his right wing Christo-Het Supremacists followers.

He also said that he thought that the COnstitution should be revised to better reflect God's word. If he got elected, I don't know how the hell he could swear to uphold a constitution which he doesn't think is a good one.
