Thanks a lot. | What a load of crap!!!! Countries have always acted in the best interest of themselves. Saudi Arabia and the other countries of OPEC limit the amount of oil that is drilled, to raise prices to make money. France, Germany and Russia voted against the US in the UN Security Council to protect their side dealings with Saddam Hussein and their supplying of weapons for oil.
This is a grown up world, and we play power politics, we offer others the choice of carrot or stick. It is that simple. Our leaders have a responsibility to do what it in the best interest of this country, which may not always be what is in the best interest of another country.
If you don't like them hating us, and by your presence here, yourself, here's a novel idea, LEAVE. I don't like Alec Baldwins who talk all kind of shit and then remain to take advantage of the freedoms provided here. Grow a set of balls and get the frack out.
dmk Conservatism, I repeat is not an ideology. It does not breed fanatics....But if you want men who seek, reasonably and prudently, to reconcile the best in wisdom of our ancestors with the change which is essential to a vigorous civil social existence, then you will do well to turn to conservative principles -Russell Kirk- |
