Personally, I have never done drugs, nor do I ever plan on doing drugs. I don't smoke, I don't drink, etc. The closest I get to drugs is my morning cup of caffeinated green tea. I just feel like the American government is wasting our tax money on something that's going to happen, regardless, especially when there are so many more important things out there. Think of all of the money we could save! The cost of imprisoning all of these druggies alone has to be pretty high (no pun intended).

Plus, if drugs are legal, we can regulate and tax them, which means more revenue!
Regulating drugs, does not sound like the best thing to do. We could make tons of money off of legalized drugs, but what kind of country would we be to legalize drugs. If we were to legalize thing such as Cocaine and heroine, I could only see even more violent crimes happening. Legalizing drugs is just not a smart thing.
Pharmacies make billions off of getting patients addicted to sythetics; that's why holistic treatments are so obscure in this country. You can't make money off of a healthy population, you gotta feed 'em shitburgers and greese so you can squeeze their money out of them when they need heart surgery, or put them on five different medications while putting them through toxic treatments like chemo. You have to remember that it's a business, not a group of good-hearted wo/men on a mission to bring good health and happiness to the people of the world.

Cocaine and heroin are used as a sort of social control in my opinion; Crack- a cure for the poor. I think the CIA/DEA could easily undermine the drug trade, but it keeps the prisons in business and makes it seem as though they're doing their job when they're just shootin' fish in a barrel. If you ask me, I think the CIA is nothing but extremely well-organized crime.

There's no room for simple people in the richest country in the world, that's why squatting, panhandling, distribution of free food, and dumpster diving are all illegal. But I'm getting way off topic with this...

Legalizing drugs is just code for legalizing the poor, and that's something the feds don't feel like they can afford.
That is why I feel marijuana is not legal already.

There is little doubt that the world in general is more liberal than it was 50 years ago and beyond. Conservatives are simply roadblocks on the path to an ever more progressive and liberal world. What a sad existence.
