As I understand it; until money is exchanged between the two parties for "services", no crime has been commited.
Now, why that client decides to pay for those services can be left up to the behavior specialists. But make no mistake, when Spitzer passed over money for the services; he commited a
crime. And when Ms. Dupree accepted money for performing those services or agreeing to do so, she also commited a
crime.
Spitzer is only being skewered by the media because of his previous views and prosecutions of prostitution rings. He is just being "hoist on his own petard"; and he is paying (and always will) for not "practicing what he preaches".
You really need to get help for that sexual issue you have, Gary. Every problem was (and is) caused by a female or a gay person must be eating you up. You seem to want to blame them for everything! I don't know if it's some sort of Oedipus complex you have; but it detaches you from the reality of life sometimes. Talk to a shrink about this; and face whatever demons you have that cause you to think in such ways. You'll be a better person for it!
