Part of the problem was that the flu vaccine given didn't cover some of the strains we saw this flu season.

A lot of people forget that you don't get a fever with a cold. If you have a fever, it's the flu (influenza). You have many of the same symptoms, but the flu is much worse, and can lead to death.
