And you two sound as if you would never break the law. Have you ever given a friend a gift for something they did for you? Prostitution should be legalised, it is a ridiculous law, and isn't even applied nationally. Just go to Vegas. You boys are being priggish in your judgement of the women who sell sex, but what about the men who are buying it? And don't, please don't, give me the old "they are victims" line. |
Then I suppose you are going to start a movement to legalize prostitution? As a matter of fact; I was just in Vegas two months ago. Yes, there are prostitutes there; and some guys were trying to slip them in past the hotel security- and the police were also there;removing as many as possible.
I have never stated that I have never broken a law. But I will say that the laws that I've broken over the years all fell under the jurisdiction of my local Traffic Court (two speeding tickets); and another fell under the purview of the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (forgot my fishing license at home once). I have
never,
ever knowingly commited a felony crime; and do not intend to start.
I'm sorry if that makes me sound priggish. But that was the way I was raised-to respect the law. Dad always says;
"You don't have to like the law, you only need to follow it".
Nobody is finding fault with Ms. Dupree's desire to maintain a lifestyle that her parents provided for her. Just her choice of methods to do so, that's all. Now, unless Ms. Dupree's parents taught her to be a prostitute; and set her up in this endeavor (I hadn't heard this yet); why should they be at fault?
WT; you're giving credence to Gary's "Greed and Laziness" theory if you are somehow trying to pin this on her parents for providing Ms. Dupree with a good home.
