The nature of prostitution and men is a symbiotic one; one could not exist without the other. And what of it? Why shouldn't a woman exploit her sexuality if it can make her money? If it were legalized and monitored, the disease and exploitation by pimps would be eliminated, the police could focus on crimes of violence and property and everyone would benefit. And it strikes me that for every prostitute there must be many more men who desire their services or the economics of the situation would not work out.

Now regarding Spitzer, I'm glad to see him facing the music only because he has been so spiteful towards prostitution in the past, presenting himself as yet another holier than thou. Yet he thought himself above it all when it came to his own needs and desires. Judge not lest ye be judged as the Christians say.
