And Gary, you cannot use one part of a post concerning intimacy between two consenting adults in reference to when a girl becomes a woman. Technically she is physically a woman when she begins menstruating. That doesn't mean that she is emotionally an adult, but then again, I know many people who are legally adults, yet they are clearly not emotionally adults. When a young woman is pregnant, and if she intends to keep the child, she is going to be a mother, and that constitutes adulthood. |
Your definitions of "adult", "emotionally adult" and "adulthood" are frankly irrelevant.
Legally a child remains a minor until their 18th birthday. Most are dependent on their parents for a long time after that.
It's unthinkable that any adult should keep secrets about a minor from their parents. Doggone it darn right you betcha bless your heart maverick |
