Healthcare in America certainly isn't free. Everytime you open your wallet or swipe your credit card a portion of your bill goes to pay somebody else's health insurance.
2. Government has a bad habit of mismanaging anything it touches. Prices go up, quality goes down. Example? DMV How about Example: United States military, the second largest enterprise on the planet and run by the government! Would you say they were mismanaged?
How about Example: NASA, another govt run organisation that put men on the moon 40 years ago?
The fact is that govt run organisations can be successful when they are well funded, well- run and when they pay well and hire motivated people.
3. The issue isn't about caring. I care about a lot of things, I don't think the government should "force" my neighbor to pitch in for it. If I believe in it enough I'll pay for it, try to raise money for it and ask people to donate. | You already are pitching in and you are forced to do so - but you just don't realise it.
Other people's healthcare is already included in the price when you make a car payment, mortgage payment, buy groceries, gas, airline tickets, and almost everything else
Open your eyes! Doggone it darn right you betcha bless your heart maverick |
