fxashun's concern about the word 'marriage' (already moot, as we have gay marriages that are legal in America - and many other places in the world) is not the reason he's a homophobe.

As you have pointed out, nobody has a right NOT to be offended.
It's very apparent that many homosexual activists can offer no justification for their unfortunate dysfunction and are reduced to the last resort of playing the sympathy card or trying to reflect vicarious guilt on normal people.
