I just prefer that the candidates try to persuade us to vote for him/her, instead of against the other guy/gal... you know, the usual spiel that we all talk about. Of course these days that's asking way too much of our politicians.
It's not the message, but how it's being delivered. I don't want a politician to re-open the wounds of 9/11 in order to garner a few extra votes.
She is merely pointing out his lack of experience compared to hers.
Obama has had more experience in an elected public office than she has. Most of her political career has been spent being First Lady.
Now if you want to make this an argument on experience, can we count on your vote for John McCain? He's had way more experience, politically and especially militarily, then either of the Democratic contenders.
Even though she wasn't in an executive office she was close enough to the "front line" for 8 years to have the benefit of Bill's experiences (apart from THAT one).
Wait, so if I watch a heart surgeon work for 8 years, I won't need to go to medical school and earn a degree? His experiences will just somehow transfer over to me? Schweet!
I'm sorry but Hillary is not Bill.
This is all new for Obama though. When the phone rings at 3am who will he call - Oprah?? |
...unless Oprah somehow was appointed to a cabinet position in an Obama Administration lol.
Secretary of Defense Oprah Winfrey FTW?
