That's why I worked until my son was born. Thing is, I can still go back to work and still be paid at my 100% disabled rate. I've only been a stay at home dad for 3 1/2 years now. My wife's getting promoted to manager covered the loss of my income...and then some. We earn it just as much as any other successful family.
