I'd like to go back to this idea and how it relates to the debate. You have a great point. "Marriage" is just a word that means to join two things, or people, together. So people that are for gay marriage are not the ones trying to redefine marriage. It's the people that are against it that are trying to make the word "marriage" mean just heterosexual marriage.
