I'm smart enough to know that a single mother with a few kids doesn;t start paying taxes until around $20,000 of income or more. And that number is getting larger every tax season. Considering the shift in values that we currently have going on, I'm smart enough to know that a majority if not all of the burden is gonna be placed on single childless people and middle and upper income wage earners. And to me, that's not quite gonna work.

Nothing pisses me off more than hearing that some chick who only paid $2000 in federal income tax is getting a "refund" for $4000 because of EIC and crap. It's not enough to pay no tax, but to get free money as a "rebate" is insane.
