It wasn't until the late '80's that there was a majority in favor - and that wasn't by a landslide, either | You see, I'm not concerned about a U.S. ban on interracial marriage because it was as localized as cannibalism. When you commit genocide and slavery, bans on interracial marriage are kinda minor. But aversion to homosexuality is still specieswide, not limited to a few places. There's a difference.
