You see, I'm not concerned about a U.S. ban on interracial marriage because it was as localized as cannibalism. When you commit genocide and slavery, bans on interracial marriage are kinda minor. But aversion to homosexuality is still specieswide, not limited to a few places. There's a difference. Just as religious persecution looks the same as racism, but no one is born a Baptist.
