The rich should be paying more in taxes as a percentage of their income than the people who are earning much less. The proportion that actually occurs is totally lop-sided. The rich pay the least and the working poor pay more. And corporations are receiving subsidies from the government that they don't need. Taxes are necessary, and I feel great about paying my taxes and living in America, but the codes are crazy and the loopholes for the rich and corporations are too many.
