Whose life would be saved? Whether a woman prevents birth by contraception, sterilization, or abortion, the baby that would have been, doesn't come to be.

BTW, hysterectomy has drastic effects upon a young woman's body, it isn't done on young women for sterilization purposes. No reputable doctor would do it.
