But I agree, I hate Texas too. I used to commute there every week or two, between the heat, storms, and all that "middle of nowhere", I'm glad to be from Ga. Since they never left Texas though, it's not like they know any better.

But I've been reading a few legal blogs, the FLDS have a helluva civil case here. And if the kids have been mentally altered from this, that's just more fodder for the lawsuit.
If the girl suing the FLDS can sue for forcing her to marry, the girls that turned out adults have a case as well for being held for a month under false pretenses.

Well yes, it's their home. But do they really like it there?

Between Midland/Odessa and Ft. Worth, TX, I could be easily lulled to sleep on I-20 when driving through flat country, looking at the horizon that spans for 20 miles, and looking north toward those oil derricks. And the heat in the summer is nothing to speak of, too. It is such a boring place to be.

When I got to Ft. Worth, there I was in cowtown, USA, home of the cow auctions. Look east on the turnpike and there is Dallas.

While the FLDS may have a case against the state of Texas, the young lady suing the FLDS may have a case as well. What goes around, comes around. I'm sure happy I am not an attorney.
