No it doesn't discriminate. It just set requirements for marriage. Just like the age and family controls. If you are a 14 year old wanting to get married in most states, tough tits.

Not it's not. Religion has nothing to do with gender or any other real reason to marry. Religion is a man made construct. People will be male and female even if we can't talk or worship. Heterosexuality is self evident in need, purpose and outcome, other sexual deviations are fundamentally sterile and biologically null in mostly the same ways. No reason to include them under "marriage" for the same reasons.
