Something we wage war in other countries to impress upon them - but which we have a miserable track record for ourselves. | You know Tristan, you have more rights than most people in the US because of your social-economic status. From all appearances, it seems you and Jon are reasonably well off. You both are highly educated too.
As I posted before, the amount of money you have is really what determines how many rights you enjoy. I would like to ammend that statement by saying that intelligence and education are factors too. Since you and Jon are obviously on the upper end of the intelligence and education benchmarks, and I don't think you are struggling financially, you two are actually on the upper end of most of the measures for quality of life in America. Being gay has nothing to do with the aforementioned.
I'm willing to bet you will say that you are very happy for what you have. There are probably a lot of people who wish they had what you have too. |
