The good news is that my stangle hold as the top poster on this website will not last much longer...

I got word yesterday morning that on October 24th I will be deploying to Afghanistan for 18 months. It is my current understanding that I will be providing security for Supply Convoy's, which is currently, statistically, the most dangerous job in theatre... Wish me luck.

I intend to participate as much as I can here on the web site until I go, but you will understand that I want to maximize my quality time with my loved ones. Anyone interested in getting letters from Afghanistan, please PM me your mailing address, and I will do my best.

I really love this website, and I really want to see it succeed. When I return I look forward to jumping back into the mix, I hope you all will not have forgotten about me by then.

RHS, I appreciate you hosting my web site for me, and I would really like to keep it, so that if I get a chance I can update my blogs, or I can mail letters to my Girlfriend who can update them for me. However if this becomes impractical I certainly understand. I will make a back up of my entire site before I leave.

Thank you all so much for letting me share in the discussions, for listening to my rants, and putting up with my brash attitude. I want you to know I sincerely respect you all, and I have made several valued frindships here that I hope not to lose.
