A union will support a teacher that berates a unruly child. I'm sure that if there is a union, it'll support her for not wanting to give out same sex marriage licenses. It's not like there was an expectation that same sex unions would marry when she took the job. It's still pretty alien among states and countries to allow that.
Maybe she could claim homophobia, and make it a disability claim. LOL.
