How about the voters get used to the fact that their marriages will not become any less meaningful if gays are allowed to marry? Maybe we should let them realise the sky will not fall and the world will not end if we allow gay people to marry.
After all, these homophobes are only against gay marriage because their religion is against it.
Take religion away and they don't have a leg to stand on.
