President Bush served in the military. Explain immoral war of convenience please. Your vote will not decide the election since a Democrat will not be elected president this November.

They decided that the Pentagon's 10 year study of invading Iraq which was done by those who had military experience and an understanding of the people, culture and religion of that part of the world wasn't worth squat. What did the Bush administration do with that expert opinion and those painstakingly researched examples of possible scenarios? He tossed it to the side and followed his own overconfident opinion of what the outcome would be. That is another thing I see in his legacy. Overconfidence in himself and those he surrounds himself with.
I would argue the war was an absolute necessity and I have a majority of 77-23 Senators and a majority of House members 296-133 on my side of the argument. CNN.com - Senate approves Iraq war resolution - Oct. 11, 2002

Perhaps you've been away from news reports since it is apparent that Iraq will soon be a stable nation providing its own security for its citizens. I know that is heartbreaking for those praying for failure in Iraq but it will happen like it or not. Iran will either flip over showing its soft underside or its citizens will be given the same opportunity when it is overthrown.
