Regardless of the reason Harriet Miers withdrew, whether on her own or because the President asked her to withdraw, one fact remains glaring. We the people, influenced our President and made him bend to our will. Thats right, all of us right-wing lunatics who are so like satan, got our President to follow what we wanted. Something all you left-wing lunatics have never been able to do.

Why did so many of us oppose this nomination??? Thanks to the work of former Chief Justice Rehnquist and current Associate Justice Scalia, there is a new school of jurisprudence based in conservatism and supported by their work on the Court. For the past 20 years, many young legal scholars have been exposed to this school. There are many bright and young legal members who have accepted this philosophy. That is who we wanted appointed to the Court. And now we will have exactly what it was that we wanted.

What amazed me the most was the nerve and audacity of liberal members of Congress like Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi saying on television that this withdrawal showed the President that he would have to appoint someone who was more centrist. Like it was the liberals who made the President change his mind. Talking about being out of touch with reality. Are they really this idiotic???? Or did they actually believe what they were saying????

Conservatism, I repeat is not an ideology. It does not breed fanatics....But if you want men who seek, reasonably and prudently, to reconcile the best in wisdom of our ancestors with the change which is essential to a vigorous civil social existence, then you will do well to turn to conservative principles
