I have no problem with a man being able to "sign off" from responsibility prior to birth. That's only fair. The only stipulation I would make is that if he "signs off," he has to make it permanent with a lifelong restraining order.

I disagree. The person who's pregnant should make the decision, always. Of course I would certainly advocate that both people should discuss such a crucial decision. But such a thing should never be made law.....because a man can't gestate.
