African Americans complain about their status in this country, the only ones they have to blame are themselves. They have put themselves into this position by the way they have remained blindly loyal to the Democratic party. I will grant the fact that it was LBJ who appointed the first African American to the Supreme Court, but it was Bush 41 who appointed the second. It was also Bush 43 that appointed the first African American as Secretary of State, and the first AFrican American woman as National Security Advisor. Who seems to be doing more for whom.
dmk | Dude... Pick up a history book.
I would recommend the college text book "The Enduring Vision" since it is pretty comprehensive. It is also used by a lot of high school AP US history classes.
I think it explains why various minorities are in various positions pretty well, and it really doesn't have anything to do with voting for the Democrats. |
