African Americans in this country have ceased being a political power. 90% of African Americans will vote for Democratic candidates regardless of what a Republican candidate may offer or say to try and win them over. Such is the fact that many Republican candidates have given up on trying to win them over. Since the Democrats know the African Americans will vote for them regardless, they do not have to cater to their demands. The Democrats can laughingly say what are they going to do vote Republican, knowing that it is a true statement.

African Americans complain about their status in this country, the only ones they have to blame are themselves. They have put themselves into this position by the way they have remained blindly loyal to the Democratic party. I will grant the fact that it was LBJ who appointed the first African American to the Supreme Court, but it was Bush 41 who appointed the second. It was also Bush 43 that appointed the first African American as Secretary of State, and the first AFrican American woman as National Security Advisor. Who seems to be doing more for whom.
