This is a response to this post that was lost in our crash. I realize it is propably out of context now but I figured I'd put it in anyway.
Lucid, welcome to the posts. Go check out our member list, member # 125, on page 5 I think. I Don't know if this is a set up, or if someone is pullin our legs or, if it is real. I thing he is totally F--ked for hurting people just because they don't see God his way, piece of crap! I think there is more of a possiblity of him being involved in 9/11 than Saddam. Saddam is Bush's scap goat. He is not being tried for 9/11. They had to go back to the 80's to find something on him. I think he is a piece of crap too and am glad for the possibility that he will never really get those weapons, but what does anyone's opinion on the man have to do with it? I, as an American, watching his crimes on TV, hope he gets the noose. I also have to wonder how fair a trial is on something that old. The facts remains the facts, if we can see through the administation applied sugar coating. Why we are even worried what the world will think if we pull out, I do not know.
I am more worried about what the world thinks of us showing how weak we are by staying in there. BRING OUR TROOPS HOME!!
While I am on the subject, alot of the terrorist reports from Iraq are not Al Quada, They are insurgents. They are using terror tactics but in the end they are Iraq citizens who what us to leave thier country. It is sad that many of the people think we are over there doing battle with mostly Al Quada. Granted some of the attacks, like the one on the police station the other day, were committed by Al Quada. but didn't they show up when we presented ourselves as targets, months after our invasion's "successful conclusion"?
