I think if the crime is one that warrants capital punishment, as determined by a jury of the defendents peers, than the defendent should be put to death expeditiously. Don't waste my tax dollars keeping these scumbags alive. I am in the U.S. Navy, and prisinors in the U.S. live in substantially better conditions than we do aboard ship. I have personally seen our ship receive beef that was stamped "Reject by the Mississippi Prison System". And that's a damn shame. The hard working, hard fighting men defending this country should not be given worse condiditons than criminals.
