Armed robbers are in a hurry. They know that the more time the victims have to think, the more likely they might come up with a plan for resistance.

So we have President Obama, who I voted for, always trying to rush everything through Congress. The Sotomayor nomination - rush it through. The stimulus bill was rushed through, and I don't see any sign that it helped the economy. He wants cap and trade rushed through, as well as the health care bill.

Good legislation does not need to be rushed through. It will withstand scrutiny.

I would feel a lot better about President Obama's legislation if he would stop trying to rush it through Congress.

he has been in office for X months now!
