 I heard a quote the other day about how it's easier to try and make other people live up to our ideals than it is to live up to our ideals ourselves.
Especially when we feel threatened.
I feel we, as a country, are epitomizing this in this day and age. "(Gay marriage) is a debate about whether you think gay people are part of the human condition or just a random fetish."
