The wheels are not coming off the conservative wagon despite what you might contend. Delay stepping down is a smart move and a noble one, by someone who is more concerned with the success of his ideals than of himself. I would be more afraid of Delay outside of the Congress, as an individual citizen, he does not have to abide by the rules of conduct towards other members of the Congress.

It is also interesting to note that one of Delays last acts as a member of the House will be to report Congresswoman Cynthia McKinney to the House's Ethic committee. It seems as Congresswoman McKinney has had yet another run in with Capitol Police, this time actually striking one of the officers. But of course, McKinney blames this on racism.
