Could be why it is in the environment forum

Yes it is a protecting the environment type thing.

We will be picking up litter as part of the achivement, and learning about recycling and other ways to save energy (beside recycling).

I think the point of the 3 stories is so they can see other people helping the environment on a larger scale.
