If you want to talk "big time" you could use illustrations of the wind generation industry, or the corn alcohol industry - perhaps even the production of methane gas from landfills.

If you want to talk "local" you could talk about people riding bikes and walking to work instead of driving vehicles, turning down heat & turning off lights, insulating homes and general conservation.


As we speak, I'm working on a special diet that will help me produce enough gas to heat my office by lighting my farts. I'm very close on the "BTU" side of things, but there's still a fair amount of work to be done to improve the smell and lower the incidents of burnt butt hair.
