Boycott two oil companies if you want. It's not going to change anything.

There are only two things that are ever going to change this:

1. Americans MUST drive less miles, and must drive more efficient cars. Even with the spike in gas prices this past year, we're still burning more gas than ever. We need to walk, ride bikes, utilize mass transit and do whatever else is necessary to diminish fuel consumption.

2. Americans MUST develop feasable forms of renewable energy. E85 is one step. BioDiesel and SoyDiesel are also extremely viable. Hydrogen power is still a ways off.


It is ONLY when America is no longer in need of foreign oil that we can give the collective finger to OPEC and the middle-East terrorists that are financed through the foreign oil we buy. If you think it cannot be done, think simply of Brazil.
