Should Barry Bonds records count?
Barry Bonds and steroids--it seems the two have been linked for years. But yesterday an explosive excerpt from the book “Game of Shadows” on the Sports Illustrated website provided some pretty strong evidence that Barry Bonds has knowingly taken steroids since 1999.

The real question is not whether Barry Bonds will be admitted to the Hall of Fame. (He probably will—despite these new allegations.) But assuming that Bonds is guilty should his amazing career records—he is currently third on the all-time home run list—be amended or even removed? Should there be an asterix next to Bonds’ records as well as other players of the ‘steroid’ era? Or without conclusive evidence should these records remain intact and unblemished?
